“Since meeting with Carla regularly I have matured so much in my walk with Christ. There is always that one thing that sticks in your mind when you meet with someone…Carla said something to me that I didn’t believe or trust but it kept coming back over and over in my mind, “As long as you continue to work on you, God will fix the relationships around you.” I remember that phrase every day. Out of all the meetings we have had and all the things she has said, that was by far the most powerful phrase. It has helped me to walk away from arguments, strengthen my relationships, and most of all fully rely on God, not me. It helps me remember I am obeying God by taking care of me and doing what He asks; that I can’t fix others, they have to be willing to fix themselves. Ultimately, the problems around me are not mine they are God’s!
